JESUS IS LORD ….
The purpose of this site is to examine Classic Dispensationalism; look at its antecedents and its many satellite spin-offs that have enaged Christendom; consider its tenets vis-a-vis the Bible and to alert and warn.
The Site Owner acknowledges that the views stated here are subjective; they may embed factual error; may have a fair dose of the owner’s own bias; and in consequence may not be an expression of “Rightly Dividing The Word of Truth.” The content presented hopefully will be a help to jog the heart and mind of the reader into a greater degree of “spiritual thinking.” on the subject of prophecy whether that be biblical or otherwise. [1 Corinthians 14:15]. This blog is presented with the mindset that the blogger himself is a learner and in no way, shape, or form “has arrived!” We are all learners on this narrow road we call “The Way!” Now I knnow in part and prophesy in part. [1 Cor. 13:9-12]
The blog owner’s intention nevertheless is to present a concern to the reader—the influence of Classical Dispensationalism, having made its way into the Millerites, 7th Day Adventist, Jehovah’s Witnesses, Fundamentalists, Evangelicals, Jewish Messianics, Hebrew Roots and Christian-Zionism has spread to a degree a spirit of error. Too much of eschatological prophecy and the spirit of error seems to me to have always gone hand in hand. This phenomena to a great measure has been the product of Classical Dispensationalism brought forward by John Darby and James Brookes and enshrined by Cyrus Ingerson Scofield in the Scofield Reference Bible. On its heals came Hal Lindsey’s 30 million best seller “The Late Great Planet Earth.” And wow! that too swept the imagination of the Christian world off-its- feet. The mind of christendom in this blogger’s view, has been greatly poisoned by the 1909 release of Scofield’s Reference Bible. The revised 1967 version, produced a good 45 years after Scofield’s passing, modernized Scofield’s notes. They did so in the context of what in Classic Dispensationalism may be regarded as an accurately fulfilled prophecy of the establishment of the State of Israel in 1948. Whoever “curses you curses me,” [Genesis 12:1-3] and Israel, “the apple of God’s Eye,” [Zechariah 2:8] became the everyday language of the Scofield world view. Critical examination of scripture was frivolously dubbed as antisemitism in this bloggers view, where Jewish-supremacism may be argued as being the opposite side of the same coin.

I am not a pastor. precisely because I do not meet the qualifications to be one. [1 Timothy3:2] But this is what Calvin had to say to overseers of the flock of our LORD:
John Calvin said:
“The pastor ought to have two voices:”…. “one, for gathering the sheep; and another, for warding off and driving away wolves and thieves. The Scripture supplies him with the means of doing both.”
